Service that meets your needs Our service is friendly and totally flexible; we will meet your requirements precisely. This is why major companies such as Exxon, Adobe and BP, as well as many private individuals come back to us time after time. Pre-departure Preparation Moving to a new place is a daunting experience; but being given the right kind of information and support at the right time can remove a lot of the anxiety. We’ll do this for you, providing things like: maps of the chosen areas and factsheets on topics such as health care, shopping, public transport and leisure and recreation information about local schools and colleges help and advice on practical issues such as opening a bank account and getting connected to utilities Familiarisation Trips Seeing for yourself We'll give you the chance to see your new area for yourself, either before or during the early days of your relocation. We'll accompany you on such trips, getting to know you and your family. Understanding your needs Once we understand your requirements, we'll take you to see the kinds of property in your price range. We will also tell you about local leisure and cultural activities, and we'll make you aware of practical considerations such as journey times to and from work. Giving you choice The choices are all yours, but we'll give you the chance to make informed ones based on in-depth local knowledge and experience. Schools Advice Being in the catchment area for a good school is a benefit which clients often seek. Detailed local knowledge We can offer you and your family detailed knowledge of local schools, whether private or state, so you can make an informed choice. We’ll give you the latest information about a school’s performance and we’ll give you valuable feedback from the local community. School visits We will help you see for yourself how good the local schools are by making appointments for you to visit. We’re more than happy to accompany you on such visits too. Temporary Accommodation Relocating isn’t always as simple as arriving and finding the perfect place to live straight away. Giving you a “home-from-home” We can arrange temporary accommodation in serviced apartments and in private property where you will be able to live life as you want to, setting up a temporary “home-from-home”. We think this option beats living out of suitcase; it’s frequently cheaper and more restful than staying in hotels. Homesearch Homesearch is an all-inclusive service and is particularly cost-effective. Meeting your property needs Once we have received your brief, we will seek out properties that most closely meet your needs. We generally put forward at least four, and up to six, properties for consideration and eventual viewing during an agreed day. Renting or buying Whether you want to rent or buy, we can find the right property. We also offer guidance as to the price you should realistically expect to pay and the way houses are bought and sold in Scotland. Spouse Support Helping relocated employees settle into a new location is vital for the commercial success of a company. Families will also want to feel that they are part of the local community. We're on hand to give friendly support and encouragement. We can help spouses find employment, put them in touch with voluntary organisations and show them opportunities for their leisure interests. Where needed, we can also advise on cultural differences and arrange language classes. Ongoing Support At all stages - before, during and following your relocation - we are on hand at all times. We can help you enrol your children at school, register you with local dentists and doctors and deal with house agents until everything is to your complete satisfaction. We’ll even help you shop for furniture and fittings, or arrange to have milk delivered. You only have to ask…
